Yes. Piñata Points expire 12 months after the date they're issued, whether you're a Free or Paid member.
Keep your points active
Any Qualifying Action extends the expiration date of all your unexpired points by 12 months from the date of that action. Qualifying Actions include:
Making a rent payment through Piñata
Engaging with the Piñata Marketplace (clicking through an offer, redeeming a promoted reward, or making a purchase)
Earning or redeeming Piñata Points
We'll remind you
We'll email you at least 45 days and again 7 days before any points expire. Please keep your email address up to date. Points still expire on schedule if a reminder isn't received.
If you move or your property manager leaves Piñata
Your points stay in your account and follow the same 12-month expiration rules. If your property manager or partner platform runs its own points program, that program's rules apply instead.
Forfeiture
Points earned through fraud, or in breach of our Rules or Terms, may be removed immediately without notice. Points can't be sold, traded or transferred, and attempting to do so may result in forfeiture of all points.
