Piñata Points are our unique rewards currency! Every month that you pay rent on time and confirm it in the app, you'll earn 40 Piñata Points on Rent Day and IF you are enrolled into credit engine you will earn an additional 20 points every month when on-time rent payment has been reported. These are the amount of points that are issued to paid memberships and members who have been enrolled by their landlord or property management company.
Additionally, Piñata Points are the in-app currency of the Piñata platform, aligning with monetary terms in a straightforward 1:1 ratio, where 1 point equals $1 in Piñata Cash.
When interacting with the app, offers and deals may display rewards in monetary terms, such as “Earn $10 in Piñata Cash.” In these cases, the dollar value aligns directly to points in a 1:1 ratio. For example, earning $10 means you are actually earning 10 Piñata Points.
You can spend it on all kinds of rewards within the app (which you can find under the Rewards tab at the bottom of the screen).
Be sure to check the reward store regularly to familiarize yourself with the list of redeemable items, including gift cards and other exclusive perks.
Piñata Points can only be used within the Piñata app and are non-transferable. They cannot be converted into cash or any other currency outside the app.
If you have a free membership, you earn only 10 points on rent day and you will have limited access to our rewards shop.

Their value corresponds 1:1 with Piñata Cash (1 point = $1).
Points are not convertible to cash and cannot be used for transactions outside of Piñata.
